Chris Mendoza’s “Fright Nights” to Transform Art Farm Iowa into a Haunted Art Experience
Saturday, October 18 & Friday, October 24 | 7:30– 9 PM | Northwood, Iowa
Art Farm Iowa invites the community to two nights of eerie creativity and Halloween-inspired fun with “Fright Night,” an immersive evening led by artist Chris Mendoza on Saturday, October 18 & Friday, October 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Mendoza—known for his bold murals and dynamic visual storytelling—will debut a fluorescent mural and Halloween-themed installation that blends street art energy with rural imagination. The event will transform the grounds of Art Farm Iowa into a haunted art experience.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to explore art zones, spooky soundscapes, and seasonal treats. Pumpkins will also be available for free for guests to take home and carve before Halloween.
“Chris Mendoza’s work has an edge and atmosphere that’s perfect for the season,” said Steve Hanson, founder of Art Farm Iowa. “Fright Night brings together art, music, and community—just with a Halloween twist.”
The event continues Art Farm Iowa’s mission to connect art and rural life through memorable cultural experiences.
