Becoming: America at 250

These are tumultuous time. However, America has never been a finished idea. At 250 years old, the nation remains in a constant state of becoming—shaped by land, labor, belief, conflict, and quiet endurance. This year-long online photographic exhibition honors the 250th anniversary of the United States and will be drawn from both newly made photographs and the artist’s five-decade archive.

Art Farm Iowa will be hosting "The Upcycled Garden", a vibrant art exhibit from multimedia artist Daniel "Attaboy" Seifert. This imaginative collection transforms discarded, forgotten, and everyday materials into a blooming landscape of creativity -- proving that beauty can grow anywhere when curiosity leads the way. Exhibition and related events will take place May 29-August 1, 2026.

Art Farm Iowa invites the community to two nights of eerie creativity and Halloween-inspired fun with “Fright Night,” an immersive evening led by artist Chris Mendoza on Saturday, October 18 & Friday, October 24, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Art Farm Iowa has acquired the work “To Perceive Together” from Arizona artist Janel Garza. The 18’ x 6’ work will be a feature work at Art Farm Iowa. The work was developed to be a mobile mural and was completed for the 11th annual Art d’Core Gala, hosted by Artlink at The Phoenix Art Museum. Garza collaborated with the visionary fashion designer Ruby Farias who developed complementary fashions.
